Product Description

Majestic and large textile embossed in gold threads used to cover an elephant’s back and sides. The jhool is placed under the howdah (elephant thrown) and was most often used to carry aristocrats during hunting or warfare. It is considered a symbol of wealth, and thus highly decorated. Its base is a burgundy velvet with star and dot motifs. At the center is a square with floral elements where the howdah is mounted . The sides are decorated with two zoomorphic figures in hunter green accents.
